Inside a Tecnovap machine: the hand-welded boiler, the heating element, and why steam cleans with so little water.
The boiler is the heart of every Tecnovap machine, and Tecnovap builds it differently.
The boiler
Every boiler is a single stainless-steel body. Shells in AISI 304 or AISI 316 L are joined by hand using TIG welding, so there are no gaskets inside. No gaskets means no soft parts to age and leak.
The heating element is designed in-house to deliver maximum power in a small space. With little water in the boiler, warm-up is fast and heat loss is low, so steam is ready in about five minutes. The element can also be changed quickly, which keeps maintenance short and extends the life of the generator.

On models with onboard tanks, the tanks reuse boiler heat to keep liquids at working temperature, which improves efficiency.

The MyTecnovap app monitors and controls a compatible generator over Bluetooth from a phone. It runs on all Steam Box and Steam Power models, on the App Store and Google Play.
