Why steam

Dry saturated steam replaces water, chemicals and scrubbing. Here is what that means in practice.

Dry saturated steam does the work that water, chemicals and scrubbing normally do. A Tecnovap generator uses around 10 litres of water an hour. A conventional pressure washer uses about 1,300.

Less water means less runoff and no wastewater to dispose of. Most surfaces need no detergent either, so there is no chemical residue and no recurring consumable cost.

Steam also reaches where brushes cannot. Kitchen grills, extraction hoods, oven interiors, machine seams and floor joints all respond to heat delivered under pressure.

Heat is the sanitizer too. Depending on the model, Tecnovap steam reaches up to 183°C, which kills germs, mites, fungi and viruses on contact and lifts odours. Microorganisms cannot build resistance to heat the way they can to chemicals.

The same method works in a food plant and in a living room. Dry saturated steam suits industrial, professional and domestic cleaning, which is why one range covers twelve sectors.
